VARIOTAG, how does it work?

1. Reserved area to manage the VARIOTAG fleet. Add, delete, modify through an organized, versatile, and intuitive topic-based system usable from desktop and mobile, with any operating system (Windows, MAC, Linux, Android, iOS)
2. QR Code automatically generated, immediately available upon activation of a new VARIOTAG with instructions for the graphic designer and printer.
   
3. Automatically check or calculate nutritional values through a practical tool
4. Texts automatically translated into the official languages of each European Union member country and always in English for unsupported languages.
5. What and How to print on the label for complete and correct information in compliance with current regulations.
   
6. Monitoring of regulations, additional rules, and any new member states.
7. Assistance from our technicians for all registration operations, data entry procedures, and management of relevant data.
   

We have worked to offer a dedicated space for each of our Clients and to maximize the use of individual VARIOTAG/products, in order to reduce or at least contain the foreseeable rotations and replacements of QR codes and relevant values, which will accumulate over time or with successive harvests. VARIOTAG and the EU regulation for digital labeling

VARIOTAG are digital labels or electronic labels as a supplement to conventional labeling in accordance with EU Regulation 2021/2117 of December 2, 2021, aimed at all producers of wines, liqueur wines, aromatized wines, and de-alcoholized wine derivatives who market their products within the European Union market.

VARIOTAG can be accessed in all the languages of the European Union by scanning a QR code on the packaging of each item.

A VARIOTAG must faithfully display all mandatory information, the list of ingredients, the average nutritional values and the disposal instructions for the separable components. No information for commercial or marketing purposes may be included in the digital label, and no user data may be collected or tracked.

Versatile and intelligent

Prices are determined by VARIOTAG packages, that is, by the quantity of QR codes that can be activated annually for the number of products you intend to adapt. Purchase only the space you need based on the wines your brand produces and sells each year. No accumulation with QR Codes activated over time. Protected and always consistent rate.

Choose the rate that best suits your company from 6 profiles. If the number of your products increases, you can always switch from your current profile to a higher one at any time. You will pay the difference between the two price ranges for the remaining time until the natural expiration of the subscription.

Update your product sheets at any time with new packaging or subsequent batches. Use the same QR Code without changing the labels if the product does not change from season to season. Sheets remain active for 10 years with extension available upon request.

US producers who export their products to Europe will have to comply with the new regulation by verifying the compatibility of their ingredient list with what is permitted by the European Union, indicating on the label the energy value and average nutritional values per 100ml of product according to community parameters, using the practical calculator available to all VARIOTAG users.
